Throughout my entire life, art has played an incredibly significant role. Ever since I was
little, when anyone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I would say, “
I want to
be a princess.
” But then that phase passed as I realized that becoming a princess
required finding a prince and marrying him and probably being miserable, and then I
thought obviously
my mission in life is to be happy, create a life for myself that I will
never be bored of, and to be grateful to have a passion for art.

I have a passion for being an artist and I believe that it is essential within my life as something that brings me peace, continuous curiosity, and unconditional love.

Digital Art is a medium that is inspiring in so many ways. The opportunities that digital art allows for are endless. It serves as a great tool for creating references for my main medium, painting, but also there is so much more that I have left to discover. In my work, I like to discuss themes of identity. For example, I explore gender, sexuality, mental health, the male gaze, beauty standards, and age, sometimes within the context of the digital era we exist within. I like to include multiple references in order to recognize the importance of the photos and memories we wish to hold onto while giving them their own glorified space. Digital art is a great medium for these intentions, so I hope to refine my digital art practice as well as use it as a tool to benefit my physical works. I use a bright unnatural palette to provoke my viewer and like to reference previous art movements such as modernist movements as well as the glitch aesthetic within contemporary contexts. People are constantly seeing the world through pixels and artificial digitizements, I want to acknowledge this while connecting to the deeply human desire of exploring my own identity.
